Head of Brand Marketing 12 month FTC | FMCG Challenger Brand

This is a fantastic & exciting global brand that has a lot of scope after a recent acquisition. They are looking for a campaign veteran who comes with experience of marketing into Mainland Europe and is able to help create a strong visual identity for the brand to join their team on a 12 month FTC. Ideally the candidate will have experience working for a corporate consumer goods brand but also have experience working for a challenger brand.
Roles and Responsibilities
Working with the Brand Director and agency partners you will be part of the senior brand leadership team and will contribute to:
– Curating and developing the Brand Strategy, defining their positioning, messaging and identity.
– Work with the European brand teams to help localise the brand strategy to their market (predominately Germany and France).
– Develop and execute the campaign planning for the brand, driving this through the full funnel and throughout the customer journey.
– Manage the brand team, consisting of two direct reports and an overall team of 7.
– Work on visual design and branding for the brand, across all areas including brand packaging.
You
This role is perfect for someone who has worked for a classical FMCG/Consumer Goods brand and has moved to a challenger brand and are looking for their next step. You’ll need:
· A proven track record in a brand marketing role – covering all channels.
· Experience working in a challenger brand, ideally B2C or D2C.
· Subscription experience beneficial.
· Experience working on a global or European scale.
· Team management and external agency experience.
· A strong mix of creative/aesthetics with commercial/data acumen.
