Internal Communications Manager

Salt is excited to once again collaborate with this Transport sector client as they seek to hire a strategically driven, Internal Communications Manager on an ASAP starting, min 3.5 month project.

In this exciting role, you will support in driving a change programme and strategic communications plan, build relationships with key stakeholders and be proactive in driving development, delivery and management of employee communications channels, programmes and campaigns against the projects strategic pipeline.

Key Role Requirements:

• Responsible for creating and implementing employee comms plans and campaigns across the business, driving behaviour change and engagement
• Effectively manage and develop innovative communication channels – online and offline
• Support the Head of Comms in developing and delivering employee engagement and comms plans
• Design and create plans to support in the implementation of employee comms and engagement programmes and campaigns, managing the processes and delivery across the organisation
• Set and share best practice with key stakeholders across the function
• Support in building the internal brand to create and maintain a coherent internal visual identity and tone of voice across the business
• Effectively track and measure communication activity, ensuring campaigns and channels are fit for purpose and in line with set company objectives

Key Skills Needed:

• Strong communication skills – effective written and presentation skillset
• Experience in creating and deploying employee comms and engagement channels, programmes and campaigns
• Ability to identify communication issues and effectively support with trouble shooting / providing recommendations for change
