£55,000 OTE

I am currently seeking an Internal Communications Manager to join a small and close-knit team within the hospitality and leisure sector. You will work closely with the Head of Internal Communications across all areas of employee engagement. This is an established communications function, but it is currently in the process of updating its technology and processes and is seeking someone experienced in change and transformation processes and supporting a business in transitioning to a modern way of working.

This is a creative role where you will use various channels to connect and engage with the wider business. You will work closely with senior leaders and the wider communications team to deliver business news and updates, and lead monthly newsletters, long service, and general award ceremonies. You will partner with people teams on diversity campaigns ensuring a passionate and loyal team. You will utilise video and write compelling content that delivers a key message and consistent tone of voice. This is a fast-paced and technical role that works on many exciting projects at one time, requiring you to be strategic and hands-on at the same time.

Key responsibilities:

· Deliver Internal Communications plans to a large team of 10,000+ employees which positively increase engagement and employee loyalty

· Lead creative campaigns from concept to execution including campaign delivery and review.

· Be comfortable creating content across channels such as blogs, video production, podcasts, news stories, news bulletins, and corporate messaging

· Participate in wider CSR campaigns such as DE&I, Wellbeing, and incentive programs.

· Take lead on various company events including; leadership and long service awards, employee conferences and more

· Support the business in the implementation and executive of a new Intranet system that improves employee engagement and communication.

· Support and mentor a junior team member with a goal to step into a leadership role

Key requirements:

· At least 3-5 years of Internal communications experience within a guest-orientated industry.

· Experience creating stakeholder and employee engagement campaigns

· Previous experience in creating successful and autonomous 360 Internal Communications campaigns

· Experience in Video production, SharePoint experience, hybrid streaming and general technical capability

· Working knowledge of implementing a new company intranet/communications platform

· Excellent written communication and content creation skills
