Fluent Portuguese Seo Manager (Remote Contract)

My Client is a global sports fashion client, looking for a remote contractor to conduct a keyword research project. They are looking for someone to focus on their Brazilian Market.

During this project you will help to build a tool to enable the client to identify which keywords to include in their product titles and descriptions. Incorporating the right keywords in product titles and descriptions will enable the client to rank higher in search results and have a more relevant presence for consumers, enabling the brand to improve sales potential.

Service Description & Deliverables

1. Categorization
Review terms in Portuguese and categorize them into predefined buckets. The terms would be Search Terms which we would need them connected with categories such as: product type, gender, association to adidas collection, if sport related, etc.

2. Renaming
The applicant will need to review current product names and modify using more relevant and higher ranked terms. The renaming would assist in increasing findability as product titles would be renamed to match terms which are mostly commonly searched.

In order to populate the tool and make it filterable, we need external experts to categorize the keywords as per the Excel template attached. Below a few additional guidelines.

• In the Excel, tab ‘MASTER KEYWORD LIST’ populate columns G-R for the keywords provided in column A
• Use the brand website to sense check categorizations for brand-related keywords (as needed)
• Ensure columns are filled out consistently (e.g. spellings, use of descriptive language) for keywords with consistent elements to ensure that the spreadsheet is filterable
• Any keywords that don’t help inform us how to name specific products should be excluded. Copy and paste these keywords into a separate Excel tab in the spreadsheet (call this: exclusion list).
• Include branded and non-branded
• Exclude competitors (add keywords to exclusion list)

The columns explained:

a) Brand: Include the brand name if this is mentioned in the keyword
b) Product Group: This should be included regardless of whether or not these are included in the keyword. Only use from Example – Keyword Cleaning File.
c) Product Type
d) Sub-brand: Include if mentioned in the keyword
e) Collection: Include if mentioned in the keyword
f) Gender: Include men, women, kids, girls or boys if this is stipulated in the keyword
g) Colour: Include colour e.g. blue, white, green etc. if this is mentioned in the keyword. Use ‘mixed’ if multiple colours are used or a pattern is mentioned in the keyword
h) Sports Category: Include running, yoga etc. if this is mentioned in the keyword
i) Season: Include summer, winter, fall etc. if this is mentioned in the keyword
j) Technology: Include the name of the product technology
k) Product Features: Include any notable product features here
l) If specific column elements are not included leave the cell blank

Skills & Experience:

• Good knowledge of MS Excel skills
• Fluent in Portuguese
• Good understanding of sports products
