Product Manager

Salt is currently hiring a Product Manager for a client of ours in Amsterdam.

This role is Freelance(zzp/kvk) and is paying 105 euros an hour.

It is an initial 6 month contract, with twice a week on site in Amsterdam.

We’re looking for a Product Manager to join the Discovery Apps team within the Search domain. You’ll lead the development of mobile-first discovery experiences for customer who start with broad intent-such as a theme, vibe, or travel style-rather than a specific destination.

Working closely with a Senior Product Manager, you’ll shape app-native discovery journeys that help users move from inspiration to trip planning through intuitive, engaging mobile experiences.

What You’ll Own

• Mobile discovery experiences for broad travel intent.
• App-native destination exploration, including map-based experiences.
• Save, shortlist, and handoff experiences that connect discovery to trip planning.
• Cross-functional collaboration with Design, Engineering, Analytics, and Research.

What We’re Looking For

Required

• 5+ years of Product Management experience in customer-facing digital products.
• Proven experience building UX-heavy mobile products.
• Experience working on early-stage (0-to-1) products in ambiguous environments.
• Strong experimentation and data-driven decision-making skills.

Preferred

• Experience with LLM-powered features.
• Experience with maps, location-based products, or AI chat.
