Program Architect

We’re searching for a rare calibre of Program Architect to lead architecture across a major multi-year transformation programme valued in excess of $100m.

This is not a traditional solution architecture role. We need someone who has operated at true programme scale – leading direction, governance, stakeholder alignment, and architectural quality across complex enterprise landscapes where regulation, compliance, and operational resilience matter.

You’ll work across multiple executive stakeholders, delivery partners, vendors, and architecture teams, acting as the connective tissue between strategy and execution.

What we’re looking for:

* Proven Program Architecture leadership across large-scale enterprise transformations
* Deep experience within utilities, energy, or similarly regulated industries
* Comfortable operating at Exec and SteerCo level, influencing and constructively challenging senior stakeholders
* Strong governance capability, including leading Architecture Review Boards and overseeing architectural quality end-to-end
* Pragmatic operator who understands how architecture is delivered through SIs, vendors, and delivery teams
* Able to navigate highly complex environments involving multiple platforms, dependencies, and competing priorities
* Strong balance of strategic leadership and hands-on practitioner credibility
* Resilient communicator with the ability to say “no” effectively while maintaining strong relationships

The environment is fast-moving, politically nuanced, and highly visible. Success in this role will require someone commercially astute, technically credible, adaptable in style, and capable of operating across multiple senior stakeholder groups with confidence and professionalism.
