Sales Director (New Customer Acquisition Focus)
We’re hiring a senior-level sales professional to drive new business growth within a complex manufacturing environment. This role is focused on hunting and identifying, engaging, and converting new customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the full sales cycle (7-12 months) from prospecting to contract close

  • Identify and prioritize high-potential prospects based on use case and revenue opportunity

  • Build relationships with stakeholders at all levels (engineers to CEOs)

  • Consistently engage with manufacturing facilities; lead consultative, technical sales conversations

  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams for technical input and site inspections

Territory:

  • Focus on manufacturers along the I-65 corridor (primarily sheet metal)

  • Covers five states: Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, and Alabama

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience in complex, non-transactional sales

  • Strong hunter mindset: self-starter who thrives on building from scratch

  • Comfortable managing long sales cycles and multiple senior-level stakeholders

  • Experience in manufacturing, industrial sales, or similar technical fields preferred
