Sales Director (New Customer Acquisition Focus)
We’re hiring a senior-level sales professional to drive new business growth within a complex manufacturing environment. This role is focused on hunting and identifying, engaging, and converting new customers.
Key Responsibilities:

Own the full sales cycle (7-12 months) from prospecting to contract close

Identify and prioritize high-potential prospects based on use case and revenue opportunity

Build relationships with stakeholders at all levels (engineers to CEOs)

Consistently engage with manufacturing facilities; lead consultative, technical sales conversations

Collaborate with internal engineering teams for technical input and site inspections
Territory:
-
Focus on manufacturers along the I-65 corridor (primarily sheet metal)

Covers five states: Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, and Alabama
Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience in complex, non-transactional sales

Strong hunter mindset: self-starter who thrives on building from scratch

Comfortable managing long sales cycles and multiple senior-level stakeholders

Experience in manufacturing, industrial sales, or similar technical fields preferred
