Account Executive (Enterprise Sales) – Cyber Security – Stuttgart

The Role
Joining a successful and expanding sales team in the DACH region during an exciting stage in their growth, the Account Executive/Enterprise Sales Executive will be located in/ or near Stuttgart and responsible for South Germany. This is a remote/home-based position which is also a newly created role which has been created to accommodate a rapidly growing customer base and accelerating revenue.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ensure that revenue targets are met and over-achieved
- Individually prospect to build and maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Develop an expert knowledge of the cyber security platform
- Utilise known sales methodologies to understand the objectives and needs of customers and then develop solutions through the company’s offerings.
- Research and understand the market including competitor analysis
- Maintain detailed records in CRM and your sales pipeline to develop strong forecasting capability
About You
The successful Enterprise Sales Account Executive will most likely bring the following skills and experience:
- Experience achieving annual revenue targets in excess of €1 million in enterprise software sales (cyber security preferred), most likely as an Account Executive, Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Senior Sales, Enterprise Sales or similar
- Ability to sell to multiple stakeholders during a complex sales cycle. Previous experience selling to CISO, CIO or CTO contacts would be very interesting
- A passion for problem solving and constantly improving sales knowledge
- Happy to work independently at times whilst also collaborating with colleagues across EMEA and the US
- Good technical understanding and excellent presentation skills: knowledge of the following industries would be beneficial: network security; identity management (IAM); privileged access management (PAM); application security; security operations; endpoint security; incident response; threat intelligence; threat protection
