The Role:

As the VP of Presales, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and shaping the customer experience. You will lead a team of talented presales professionals, providing strategic guidance, mentoring, and fostering a culture of excellence. Leveraging your deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics, you will collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to develop compelling value propositions, drive customer engagement, and propel the company’s growth trajectory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing presales team, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management to drive individual and team success.
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to align presales strategies with business objectives, ensuring a unified go-to-market approach.
  • Oversee the creation of compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements to showcase the value and capabilities of the company’s SAAS offerings.
  • Drive the development and implementation of presales processes, methodologies, and tools to optimize efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities, anticipate customer needs, and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, prospects, and partners, becoming a trusted advisor and advocate for the company’s solutions.
  • Provide strategic input and collaborate with the executive team to shape the company’s vision, product roadmap, and go-to-market strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in presales leadership roles within the SAAS industry, ideally in a high-growth environment.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, exceeding targets, and scaling presales organizations.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of SAAS technologies, market trends, and customer needs.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse group of professionals.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute presales strategies that align with business goals.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
