SAP Finance Solutions Architect

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP Finance Solutions Architect to act as a technical and design lead for SAP S/4HANA solutions. The role focuses on solution architecture, system design, integration, and support across new and existing SAP environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP S/4HANA solution design and implementation initiatives

• Act as design authority for complex SAP architectures

• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, cost-effective SAP solutions

• Design and document end-to-end SAP solution architectures and system integrations

• Guide SAP S/4HANA migrations, upgrades, and roadmap planning (cloud and on-prem)

• Integrate SAP solutions with broader enterprise technologies

• Provide subject matter expertise across SAP Finance and S/4HANA platforms

• Support BAU activities and project delivery initiatives

• Present solution designs to technical and business stakeholders

• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and IT strategy

Requirements

Qualifications

• Matric

• Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)

• SAP S/4HANA Certification

• Architecture certification or knowledge (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman) is advantageous

Experience

• 10+ years of SAP implementation and/or solution design experience

• 6+ full lifecycle SAP implementations

• Strong experience designing and validating complex SAP architectures

• Hands-on experience with SAP migrations or upgrades

• Experience integrating SAP solutions across multiple technologies

• Cloud exposure is beneficial

• Insurance industry experience is beneficial

Skills & Knowledge

• Deep knowledge of SAP Business Suite and SAP S/4HANA architecture

• Strong understanding of enterprise systems, infrastructure, and integrations

• Ability to challenge solution designs based on business context

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

• Proven experience delivering enterprise-wide SAP transformation initiatives
