This is a superb opportunity to join one of Australia’s most forward-thinking VR studios as a Senior 3D Artist, where you’ll bring worlds to life for interactive experiences across entertainment, education, and brand storytelling.
We’re looking for a hands-on 3D Artist who thrives in a collaborative environment, blending artistic vision with technical excellence to push the boundaries of what’s possible in virtual reality.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the creation of high-quality 3D environments, props, and characters optimised for real-time performance in Unity.
- Work closely with designers, developers, and creative directors to translate concepts into immersive visual experiences.
- Develop and maintain visual standards and workflows across the studio’s projects.
- Mentor junior artists and contribute to art direction and creative decision-making.
- Experiment with new techniques, tools, and workflows to drive innovation in VR storytelling.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in 3D art, ideally with a focus on real-time or interactive projects.
- Expertise in modeling, texturing, lighting, and optimisation for VR/AR or game environments.
- Strong proficiency with Maya, Blender, Substance Painter, ZBrush, and real-time engines (Unity or Unreal).
- A portfolio showcasing beautiful, performant 3D work and attention to detail.
- Understanding of VR design principles – scale, immersion, and spatial storytelling.
- A passion for innovation and collaboration in a fast-evolving medium.
