My client is looking for an experienced AI Engineer to help build agentic systems that think, decide, and act autonomously inside real enterprise environments.
This is not a chatbot role and not about wrapping LLM APIs. You’ll be designing and deploying production-grade AI agents that operate across CRMs, databases, compliance tools, and internal workflows – becoming true AI teammates inside organisations.
As one of the early AI hires, you’ll play a foundational role in shaping how these systems are architected, orchestrated, and trusted in the real world.
The Opportunity
My client is redefining how enterprise software behaves by embedding intelligence directly into workflows. Their platform enables AI agents to perceive context, plan actions, coordinate across systems, and continuously improve over time.
This is a hands-on role for builders who want to work at the frontier of agentic AI, not follow trends. Using AI tools to increase your own productivity is expected, not optional.
What You’ll Do:
As an early AI Engineer, you will:
- Design, build, and deploy autonomous AI agents using modern orchestration layers (n8n, Temporal, and agentic frameworks).
- Create intelligent, context-aware workflows that integrate deeply with enterprise systems such as CRMs, databases, and internal tools.
- Develop multi-agent architectures including planner-executor patterns, memory layers, persona-based behaviours, and tool-using agents.
- Push the limits of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, and vector search to ground agent decisions in real-time enterprise data.
- Integrate and optimise LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Claude, etc.) alongside enterprise APIs and services.
- Own the AI pipeline end-to-end: context construction, prompting, evaluation, deployment, monitoring, and iteration.
- Set standards for reliability, latency, safety, and trust as AI becomes embedded in mission-critical workflows.
- Collaborate closely with product and design to identify high-impact use cases where AI delivers 10x value
What My Client Is Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in applied machine learning, NLP, or AI systems development.
- Strong experience working with large language models (GPT-4, Claude, or similar), including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, or API-based deployment.
- Proven experience building RAG pipelines using embeddings and vector databases.
- Knowledge of agentic and multi-agent systems, task orchestration, and related architectures.
- Proficiency in Python and modern ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.).
- Experience with agent orchestration tools such as LangChain, LangGraph, Temporal, n8n, or custom-built stacks.
- Solid understanding of enterprise software fundamentals: APIs, CI/CD, version control, monitoring, and performance optimisation.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
Why Join:
- Top-tier compensation and meaningful equity with strong upside.
- Latest MacBook Pro and high-end workstation setup.
- Paid AI tools and cloud credits to experiment and build freely.
- Premium health, wellness, and learning budgets.
- Flexible PTO and working hours.
- A culture that values ownership, curiosity, and shipping real products – and celebrates every win.
