Senior Data Scientist

We’re looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join a high-impact AI/ML team working on large-scale recommendation systems used across multiple platforms in the APAC region. If you’re passionate about applying machine learning to real-world problems, improving user experiences, and working with mature AI infrastructure, this role offers a strong pathway for growth and exposure!

What you’ll do:

• Build & improve recommendation, ranking, and prediction models
• Apply ML techniques (classification, clustering, NLP, evaluation) to real-world data
• Work end-to-end on model development with strong engineering support
• Collaborate with product & engineering teams across multiple countries
• Mentor 1-2 juniors and help uplift the team’s technical depth

What we’re looking for:

• 5+ years in data science, preferably in recommendation systems
• Deep understanding of ML theory, model trade-offs & evaluation
• Strong Python + SQL
• Experience with behavioural data or recommendation systems is a big plus
• Exposure to xgboost, scala, spark is nice to have
