Senior Data Scientist (Modeled Propensities)

Imagine influencing marketing campaigns that reach millions of customers by turning raw data into actionable insights. Our client, a global analytics leader, is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to design, optimise, and validate thousands of predictive models that shape audience targeting and marketing strategies.

In this role, you will work with large-scale US demographic and behavioural datasets, modernise legacy systems on platforms like Databricks and Snowflake, and collaborate closely with US and global teams. Your insights will directly influence marketing strategies, cross-selling, and client-targeted campaigns.

What you will do:

• Build, maintain, and optimise thousands of predictive models to ensure accuracy and business relevance
• Analyse large, diverse datasets to identify trends, segment audiences, and support model positioning
• Lead migration of legacy systems to modern analytics platforms
• Partner with product managers, QA teams, and global stakeholders to review model performance and propose enhancements
• Apply supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.

What you will bring:

• Strong Python and PySpark skills for data processing and analysis
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT transformations
• Exposure to supervised and unsupervised learning techniques
• Marketing analytics mindset – curious about user behaviour, segmentation, and actionable insights

Nice to have: Databricks or Snowflake, cloud experience (AWS/GCP/Azure), exposure to AI/LLM tools
