We’re partnering with a leading Australian organisation to secure an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer for an initial contract role supporting a large-scale enterprise transformation. This role will be instrumental in designing, building, and optimising Salesforce solutions across a complex, multi-cloud environment, driving automation, scalability, and improved customer experiences.

THE ROLE:

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
  • Lead the development of custom components using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce where required.
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Drive best practice across Salesforce development, including code quality, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Integrate Salesforce with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs and middleware platforms.
  • Support data migration, data modelling, and data integrity initiatives across the platform.
  • Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for Salesforce deployments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to capability uplift within the wider team.
  • Ensure solutions align with security, governance, and platform best practices.

THE COMPANY:

A well-established Australian education provider delivering a range of programs across higher education, vocational training, and online learning. The organisation is focused on enhancing digital capability and improving the experience for students, staff, and the broader community through technology-led initiatives.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Salesforce Developer in enterprise environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce configuration.
  • Proven experience across core Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Experience).
  • Experience with integrations using APIs and middleware tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi).
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modelling, and security best practices.
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
  • Exposure to DevOps tools such as Copado, Gearset, or similar is highly desirable.
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II) are highly regarded.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
