Salt is hiring a ‘Strategic Partner Manager’ to build and manage strategic partnerships in the Korean gaming industry. This role will focus on driving online platform adoption among game developers, identifying and developing new partnership opportunities, and supporting partners through consultative, data-driven guidance to ensure their long-term success.
This is a one-year contract role based in Singapore.
Responsibilities
Think creatively with prominent companies in the gaming industry to build sustainable and long-term partnerships by understanding their strategy and goals
Represent gaming platform and provide thought leadership and perspectives in external meetings with partner executives
Own adoption of gaming platform with the game developers
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, design, marketing, operations, and finance
Track and analyse and communicate key quantitative metrics and business trends as they relate to partner relationships at scale
Use analysis and gaming industry expertise to source and develop new partner opportunities
Manage and consult existing partners on building up their success on the gaming platform across APAC mainly Korea and Japan
Adapt quickly to product changes and limitations, and communicate these strategically to stakeholders both internally and externally
Minimum Qualifications
5+ year experiences in business development or account management with market knowledge of the gaming business in Korea
Fluency in Korean (native) & English languages required
BS/BA in a highly quantitative field, such as Economics, Business, or equivalent experiences preferred
Experience working effectively and cross-functionally with all levels of management, both internally and externally
Good understanding of the internet/mobile app industry
Ability to define, initiate and drive business opportunities in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
Advanced skill in MS Excel, and PowerPoint
