Job Purpose:

* Develop systems and processes to aid and transition

software through the SDLC, including CI.

* Assist in the management, maintenance and

improvement of our client’s SaaS solutions.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

* Work with Development team to realise architectural

vision and bring those into the ‘Live/Production’ environment.

* Bring the art-of-the-possible, evangelise new

technologies.

* Represent DevOps in project planning.

* Develop documentation and processes for operational

management of the architecture.

* Knowledge share with other team members.

* Act as escalation point for architectural

operational issues.

* Information Security:

o Ensure appropriate thought is given to security of

deployed systems to maintain ISO27001 Certification.

o Ensure information integrity and availability in

line with company targets.

o Feedback into company ISMS on potential

improvements, Risks and/or mitigations.

* Provide Deep level support on technical issues.

* Provide backup to other team members during holiday

or absence.

* Manage and mentoring members of staff.

Job Description

Skills and Experience:

Skills

* SQL (installation, management, scripting, and

supporting)

* IIS (installation, management, and supporting)

* Cloud (AWS or Azure)

* Windows Server

* Networking (network protocols and topologies,

including load balancers)

* Hyper-V

* CI

Experience

* 5+ years in a professional environment, with at

least one-year DevOps.

* Good knowledge of server technology stacks.

* Knowledge of emerging technology trends and best

practice.

* Experience of continuous integration, ideally Azure

DevOps.

* Excellent understanding of Data Centre

infrastructure technologies.

* Excellent understanding of secure infrastructure design

and practices.

* Good understanding of Service Orientated

Architecture (SOA).

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in the following

AWS skills:

* Elastic Container Service (ECS)

* Cloudformation

* Virtual Private Cloud (VPC)

* Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) including Application

Load Balancer (ALB) and Elastic Load Balancing (ELB)

* Relational Database Service (RDS)

* Fargate

* Application Gateway

* Route53

* Lambda
