BI Data Engineer
I am currently working with a world leading Tech Healthcare company intent on changing the way the industry works. They are looking for a number of BI Data Engineers to join on an initial 6 month contract based out of the London HQ. The role will focus largely on Building the next generation of reporting and analytical solutions as well as Supporting all major teams with data and data insight solutions.
Skills
- At least 4 years’ business experience in BI Data Engineering
- Proven experience in a fast-moving environment
- Experience of building end to end processes for reporting, from inception of idea, through to ETL and finally analytical solution delivery
- Minimum 2.1 ideally in a numerical subject such as Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science etc.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, NoSQL, column store and schema design
- Strong knowledge of big data platform tools such as Hadoop, Hive Druid, Kafka, Ambari, Spark, Zeppelin
- Knowledge of at least one of them following: PowerBI, Tableau, Qlikview or similar
- Experience and knowledge of web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Appsflyer or Mixpanel
- Programming experience in either Python, Java or Scala
- Any experience with Apache NiFi is considered as a plus
