Azure Architect / Cloud Architect urgently required to join a consultancy firm in a period of rapid growth where you will be joining the Digital Transformation team as the primary point of contact in the delivery of Azure infrastructure and Cloud offerings.
The ideal Azure Architect / Cloud Architect will have a strong background working with Microsoft products (such as Active Directory, .NET, C#, SQLServer etc.) and with the Azure Cloud platform as a Cloud Solution Architect.
As the Azure Architect / Cloud Architect you will be;
* Technical point of contact in the delivery of Azure infrastructure and technically input to the design and implementation of solutions
* Work with HoA in developing Azure specific Cloud Migration strategy offering
* Assist in hiring a team of Azure delivery specialists
Essential skills required for the Azure Architect / Cloud Architect include;
* 3+ years of Hands on Delivery/Implementation related work around Azure
* Establishing Azure best practice in line with the Azure Architecture Framework and Azure Cloud Design Patterns
* Strong understanding of core Azure infrastructure including VMs, Storage Accounts, Load Balancers, Auto scaling, Functions, Azure SQL, Resource Groups, Network Security Groups (NSGs), IAM, ARM Templates
* In-depth understanding of cloud networking security concepts, such as IP subnets, NSGs, routing, Firewalls.
* Solid understanding of Azure HA strategies including: Regions, Availability Sets and Azure Recovery Manager
* Good knowledge of open source and open standards
