Desktop Support Engineer – 2nd Line/Floorwalker | Contract | Basildon | 6 months

My client has a requirement for a Desktop Support Engineer who has provided 2nd line and floorwalking support expertise to various organisations, including within financial organisations over the past 5 years. The Desktop Support Engineer will have extensive second line support experience and strong skills around Office 365, Windows 10 and Virtual Desktop environments. The Desktop Support Engineer will also have excellent user facing skills, with the ability to effectively resolve 2nd line issues on a busy financial services trade floor. The Desktop Support Engineer will be required to have strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with demanding stakeholders.

Experience of supporting Office 365 and Windows 10 in large corporate environments. previous roles gave exposure to a wide range of Microsoft technologies, financial services specific tools (Bloomberg, Reuters etc.) and virtual desktops/VDI.
