My client is a leading business who are revolutionising the way companies us the mainframe.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver system, storage and virtualization solutions based on Linux (CentOS 7.x) driven by requirements.
- Develop and maintain standards to ensure consistency across all environments globally.
- Manage BAU requests and support in-house services as a member of a global team to provide a highly available environment employing automation, optimization and continual service improvement practices were possible to achieve outstanding service delivery.
Qualifications:
- 4+ years working with Linux (RHE/CentOS 6.x and 7.x preferred) in a large complex environment with the
- Bash / Perl / Python Scripting
- Java / Databases
- Testing
- following areas of focus: operations, systems engineering and systems performance.
- Experience with configuration management tools i.e. Chef, Puppet, and Salt.
- Strong scripting and automation in Ruby, Perl, Python and Bash.
