RPA Developer

RPA Developer – Outside IR35 – Local Authority Client – £600/day – 6 Month Contract – Remote

I am currently supporting a key cliient looking for an RPA Developer. Experience in Blue Prism, Automate Anywhere, UiPath and the full suite of Power Platform for a Government body is essential.

RPA Developer Responsibilities:

1. As a Senior Automation Developer, you will be responsible for developing, configuring, and maintaining RPA solutions using tools such as UiPath, Blue Prism. You will work closely with business stakeholders to identify processes suitable for automation, analyse requirements, and create RPA/automation workflows.

2. As a Senior Automation Developer and Operator, you will leverage Power Apps to create user-friendly, intuitive applications that automate specific tasks or processes. This could involve designing and implementing data models, building UI/UX interfaces, integrating with other systems, and deploying applications to end-users.

3. The Power Platform encompasses a suite of Microsoft tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate (formerly Flow), Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents. As a Senior Digital Automation Developer and Operator, you will utilize these tools to create end-to-end automation solutions.

4. Responsible for understanding business requirements, analyzing existing processes, and designing automation solutions using RPA, Power Apps and Power Platform. You will develop technical specifications, configure workflows, create custom connectors, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation.

5. As an operator, you will monitor and manage the deployed automation solutions. This involves troubleshooting issues, handling exceptions, managing bot performance and scalability, and ensuring continuous improvement of the automated processes. You will also be responsible for maintaining documentation, conducting system upgrades, and staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in automation technologies.

Essential Skills/Experience:

• Demonstrated experience in designing and configuring RPA workflows, developing Power Apps applications, and integrating with other systems.
• Strong knowledge and experience in implementing RPA solutions using tools such as UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, or other similar platforms. Proficiency in designing and configuring RPA workflows, creating automation scripts, and handling exceptions.
• Expertise in developing applications using Power Apps and the Power Platform. Familiarity with building user interfaces, integrating with various data sources, creating custom connectors, and leveraging Power Automate, Power BI, and Power Virtual Agents to create end-to-end automation solutions.
• Programming and Scripting: Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or VB.NET is advantageous for developing custom functionalities and extending the capabilities of RPA and Power Apps solutions. Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell or JavaScript
• Experience in integrating systems and applications using APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) and working with various data formats like JSON, XML, or CSV. Knowledge of data transformation and manipulation techniques is important for seamless integration between different systems.
