With our growing DevOps delivery team, the role of Cloud Platform Engineer is becoming increasingly important to provide a scalable, secure, high-availability cloud platform to support the growing needs of the business.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable writing code to automate the management of large, distributed systems, and adept at resolving issues that arise in high-availability, mission-critical software projects.

Who you are

* A proven professional, with at least 5 years’ experience in a DevOps, R&D or Sysadmin role.

* Passionate about producing beautiful, well-designed, easily maintainable, scalable cloud infrastructure.

* Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure – including DevOps, Pipelines, AKS, Cosmo DB, Storage and Front Door.

* Experienced with Grafana Cloud and the associated technology stack (Prometheus, Loki etc.).

* Excellent multilingual coding/scripting skills (e.g., Go/Python).

* A strong grasp of automation and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Packer, Ansible etc.

* Good communication skills, comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams within the business.

* Experience with event-driven architecture and telemetry collection practices is a plus.

* Relational/SQL and NoSQL database experience would be beneficial (e.g., PostgreSQL/MongoDB).
