Senior DevOps Engineer

Role – Senior DevOps Engineer

Location – Fully Remote

Salary – €60,000 – €75,000 (DoE)

My client is seeking a passionate DevOps Engineer to join their product engineering team and drive the design, implementation, and maintenance of their platform. This position will be working closely with the CTO, Security, and Product Engineering team to design, implement, and maintain how code goes from developers to users. This individual will be able to engage with various parts of platform engineering and contribute to architecture-related decisions

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain a fault-tolerant, secure, globally distributed platform (multi-region, replication, sharding, etc.).
• Develop infrastructure as code (CDKTF).
• Enhance resilience through systems and application metrics.
• Improve and maintain CI/CD pipeline.
• Build and maintain infrastructure for global customers.
• Resolve issues using policy-as-code tools

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in containerisation (Docker) and orchestration (ECS).
• Solid understanding of modern web application principles and CI/CD.
• In-depth knowledge of CI/CD setup and improvement.
• Experience with load balancing, failure handling, resilience design, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Experience with infrastructure provisioning (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
