My client, one of the UKs leading health-care trusts are looking for an Associate Director to join, lead & design a new digital strategy & transformation for their trust. This new digital strategy will allow staff to deliver digital capability of supporting people to stay independent, out of hospital and better able to co-produce their care.
This is a key senior role in IM&T (Information Management & Technology), accountable for leading the planning and developing the strategic and operational plans for IM&T investment and oversee the digital transformation. The post holder will be required to deputise for the Chief Digital Information Officer; and support business critical service management and delivery, contractual, partnership and other meetings and forums internally and externally.
Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic and operational planning for IM&T investments, overseeing digital transformation.
- Deputise for the Chief Digital Information Officer and represent in critical meetings and forums.
- Direct and coordinate IM&T projects, manage investments, and drive digital innovations.
- Provide strategic leadership, aligning vision, values, and objectives for the project team.
- Accountable for project planning, delivery, and expertise in the field.
- Oversee capital development in alignment with IM&T strategy and Digital Innovations.
- Produce and maintain key program information, project briefs, and business cases.
- Ensure regular reporting on key performance indicators for executive leadership.
- Collaborate with Program Managers and Directors to oversee key priority programs.
- Manage program life-cycle, report progress, mitigate risks, and act as an escalation point.
- Champion best practices, support innovation, and build relationships with stakeholders.
- Facilitate organisational change, support excellence initiatives, and lead change programs.
