Digital Project Manager, eCommerce, Barcelona, Global company, New Tech Hub start-up

This opportunity will give you a chance to work for a famous Global well-respected organisation who are opening up a Tech Hub in the Heart of Barcelona. This will give you the chance to help open up a new office, new culture as well as take a lead on the strategy and growth of what you could say is a start-up but with the financial backing up a major corporation and support from one of the best consultancies in the world.

Responsibilities

• Manage (scope, budget, resources, time) one or small to medium scale projects (average 3 to 8 months) to deliver new online sales solutions for business partners.
• Manage excellent collaboration and communication with all stakeholders (business sponsors, managers, business and technical analysts, as well as development teams), which is critical to the success of this role
• Actively promote knowledge sharing and self-organisation in the project team across different development locations
• Ensure right scope and priority as well as overall consistency of solutions and smooth transition into operations considering constraints and prerequisites of the eCommerce platform
• Some travel to Paris may be required whilst you assist the growth of the new Tech Hub

Ideal experience required

• Experienced working within digital software development
• The ideal candidate (wish list, not essential) would be experienced working with a large-scale organisation but also perhaps some experience working with a start-up
• An understanding of eCommerce applications (UX, CMS, XML, JSON, API), digital software development processes and Jira
• You’re an agile evangelist and able to create a culture of continuous improvement, but pragmatic about how ‘agile’ is introduced (you value meaningful output over textbook process)
• You engage positively with the people you work with and are a good listener who is able to balance the views and feelings of multiple people in reaching an agreed decision.

This is a highly successful and progressive organisation which offers good career progression and the right support to help you become the best that you can be. The successful candidate’s will receive a salary between £35,000 – £45,000 + Benefits
