About the role:

My new client is looking for a Project Manager with 4 – 6 years agency experience and the ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously, whilst maintaining excellent communication is essential for this role.

You will thrive on working collaboratively, bringing together our clients with members of the design,

development, delivery or management teams to help drive projects forwards, towards our collective

goal – delivering beautiful products, experiences or brands, that our clients and their audiences love,

on time, and on budget, with a happy, motivated team.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Delivery team in ensuring that methodologies and technologies are

implemented correctly and are always aligned with the business’ goals

  • Deliver projects assigned to you within budget, and scope, and against project timelines, as

well as always looking for ways to add value for our clients

  • Project activities to include (this is not exhaustive) scheduling and communicating project

timelines with key milestones, leading kick-off and daily stand-up meetings, gathering

requirements, working with teams to develop user stories and defining acceptance criteria,

sprint planning and release planning, prioritising the backlog, managing internal quality

assurance and external user acceptance testing, holding retrospectives to gain key

learnings from projects

  • Act as the client’s advocate internally, taking ownership of their brief and ensuring that

everything our teams are doing, contributes to delivering on that brief

  • Assistance with facilitating workshops and client calls, setting the agenda, keeping

everyone to time, and driving the conversation to ensure all parties get what they need out

of the time

  • Work with the management team to mitigate risks and plan resource
  • Nurture client relationships, ensuring they are always in the loop with progress, engaging

regularly to identify new opportunities and grow accounts

  • Produce clear and concise weekly status reports for your clients, and for the internal team,

on all live projects within your remit

Required kills and experience:

  • Proven experience of project management within an agency, working across design and/or

tech

  • Some experience of working in an account management capacity, identifying opportunities

to extend a client relationship, and building great client relationships

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Some knowledge of software development, web technologies and agile SCRUM

methodologies

  • Familiarity with G-Suite, Jira, Slack and other internal tools
  • Product management experience
  • Basic understanding of creative processes, including brand, design, motion
  • Basic understanding of application development
  • Experience of working with corporates
  • Technical background

Personal qualities:

  • Emotional intelligence and the ability to align with a client’s needs and preferred

communication style

  • The ability to inspire and drive a team to work towards a shared goal
  • Strategic thinking; the ability to lay out a roadmap for a client which would grow their

business and lay out a pipeline of work for the agency

  • Strong organisational / time management skills, and a commercial mindset; the ability to

manage several clients simultaneously with differing project requirements

  • Versatile and willing to learn new tools and technologies (e.g. Jira, CMAP)
  • Autonomous self-starter comfortable navigating / resolving ambiguity
  • The ability to cut through complex information, identify client needs, and craft a clear

response

  • Comfortable working remotely and good at communicating in this context
  • Confident communicator, comfortable operating at every level of hierarchical organisations

with the confidence to offer viewpoints, and guide the conversation

  • Humility and transparency, being down to earth and straightforward in communication
  • Great team spirit and a willingness to deal with ad-hoc requests as required
  • Commitment to working collaboratively, valuing diversity and respecting the team and our

client
