Position: Engineering Manager (Frontend)
Location: 3 days in London, Flexible Remote
Salary: Up to £150,000
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of talented front-end developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Drive the development of new features and enhancements to our payment platform using React and React Native.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including backend developers and UX/UI designers, to ensure a cohesive and user-friendly experience.
- Take ownership of the codebase, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to guide technical decisions.
Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience in a hands-on front-end development role.
- Strong proficiency in React and React Native.
- In-depth understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and modern web development best practices.
- Experience with payment systems or fintech is a significant plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
