Responsibilities:

As the Head of Platform, your mission will be to architect, build, and maintain our organisation’s technological infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the long-term technology strategy in alignment with the company’s goals, ensuring scalability and sustainability.

  • Platform Architecture: Design and oversee the implementation of a robust, scalable platform that empowers our teams to excel.

  • Tool Development: Lead the development of tools and systems to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and drive innovation within the organisation.

  • Team Management: Build and mentor a high-performing platform team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

  • Technology Stack: Evaluate, select, and implement the most suitable technologies and frameworks to support our growth and objectives.

  • Security and Compliance: Ensure the platform’s security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments to understand their needs and integrate technology solutions that facilitate their success.

Requirements:

To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Proven Leadership: A track record of successful leadership in a technology-focused role, preferably as a Head of Platform or in a similar capacity.

  • Strategic Vision: The ability to envision and execute a strategic technology road-map that aligns with business goals.

  • Technical Expertise: Strong technical background and understanding of modern technology stacks and architecture.

  • Tool Development: Experience in developing and implementing tools and systems to optimise work-flows and enhance productivity.

  • Team Building: Proven ability to build, mentor, and lead high-performing technology teams.

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Adaptability: The agility to adapt to a rapidly changing technology landscape and identify emerging trends.
