Salt are recruiting for an exciting contract opportunity that is with a local government client on a Senior Signalling Systems Architect position.
Here are some key details about the role:
Role: Senior Signalling Systems Architect
Location: London/Birmingham
Duration: 3-month contract (with potential for extension)
Rate: £545 – £625 per day
Our client is looking for someone with a strong design and architecture background in signalling systems, ideally with experience in developing standards, interlockings, train detection systems, and Rail Control Systems (RBC). They need someone who can design, challenge existing processes, and think critically about why certain rules and processes are in place, particularly for bids and tenders.
This role will involve working on signalling systems for projects that require a non-standard approach, and experience with London Underground projects is highly valued. The ideal candidate would be comfortable working in less rigid environments compared to Network Rail and able to offer strategic guidance on signalling system design and architecture.
If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, I’d love to have a chat and provide more information.
