Technical Business Analyst (.NET, Azure) – Luxury Goods – London/Hybrid
Day rate: £400 – £500 (Outside IR35)
Duration: 6 months

My new client is looking for a highly skilled Technical Business Analyst to join one of our technical capabilities teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web based technologies and highly complex integrated systems. This role requires a combination of business acumen and technical expertise to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions.

Business Analyst Responsibilities:
* Work with stakeholders to identify business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for development and testing teams
* Document existing and to-be business and system processes
* Collaborate with product owner, engineers and architects to ensure data quality and completeness
* Collaborate with Project Manager/Scrum Master to create a healthy backlog, ensure user stories are refined in a timely manner to keep delivery on track
* Lead stakeholder meetings and manage communications to core stakeholder groups
* Act as a domain / Subject Matter Expert and represent the products by liaising with other teams on system integrations
* Work closely with the development and testing teams to ensure a clear understanding of requirements, and answer questions to provide any additional clarifications as needed
* Supporting system deployments and solution implementations
* Managing project delivery from conception to implementation
* Create detailed system diagrams, data models, and process flowcharts
* Review test plans and coordinate testing efforts to ensure the final product meets the specified requirements
* Performing QA and user acceptance testing and coordinating stakeholder involvement in testing processes
* Create comprehensive documentation for technical solutions, user guides, and training materials
* Conduct training sessions for end-users and provide ongoing support
* Analyse existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement
* Recommend and implement enhancements to optimise performance and usability
* Excellent documentation, communication and stakeholder management skills
* Attention to detail, excellent planning, organisational, and time management skills
* Experience working on global projects and deliverables
* Evidence of managing competing workloads and priorities

Business Analyst Experience:
* Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst, preferably in a web application development environment
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail
* Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a globally distributed team environment
* Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Technical Expertise:
* Strong experience with Azure cloud services and .NET technologies
* Strong experience writing user stories using Gherkin framework
* Understanding of .NET frameworks and development tools is a plus
* Experience with web technologies, RESTful APIs, JSON, XML etc is required
* Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point, Teams, SharePoint and Visio
* Experience using collaboration tools such as JIRA, Miro, Confluence, Smartsheet
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies
