Front End Developer – React | 8 months | Inside IR35 | £500 per day | Fully Remote (must be UK-based)

Job Description

We’re looking for a Developer with strong JavaScript and React skills to help with the creation and evolution of my client’s React component library to help transform our product discovery experience on their website.

Key Responsibilities

· Build and evolve their React component library that applies their new brand and Design System.

· Work within their Experience Design innovation team to conceptualise, prototype, and deliver online experiences across the website that brings their products to life and express their value to their customers and prospects in beautiful and delightful ways.

· Produce brand new UI and interaction patterns that push the boundaries of current experience

· Produce realistic, one-off prototypes for fast user testing

Essential Skills

· Solid JavaScript experience

· Solid experience with React

· Experience with Functional components and React Hooks

· Familiarity with Atomic design patterns and platform-agnostic component libraries

· Good working knowledge of TypeScript

· Good understanding of accessibility standards and demonstrable knowledge of how these affect end-users

· Experience with JavaScript unit testing libraries (Jest, React testing library)

· Experience with quick iterative prototyping

· Experience with GitHub workflows (GitFlow)

· A great team player and communicator

· A can-do attitude

· A keen desire to learn and evolve technical skills

· An impeccable eye for detail

Desirable Skills

· Experience with Storybook

· Experience in an Agile Design/Development environment

· Understanding of developing components for a CMS

· Familiarity with Sitecore JSS
