Lead Developer – London Office (With remote working)

£80 000.00 – £100 000.00 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand-new team within a leading global company and make a significant impact. They are currently seeking a talented professional to join as a System Architect and Interface Developer. In this role, you’ll collaborate with diverse teams of experts, including Software Architects, Product Managers, and subject matter experts, to enhance product performance, quality, and processes. Join one of the leaders in the gaming and gambling industries. This role is the perfect opportunity to grow into an Architect position and lead a team. If you have 8-10 years of experience in building large-scale software platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company’s strategic business plans.
• Develop, communicate, and enforce technology standards and best practices.
• Ensure alignment of systems architectures with organizational goals.
• Provide oversight and governance to optimize project portfolios.
• Manage a small team remotely and in a hybrid setting.
• Review and contribute to software engineers’ work.

Required Skills:

• 4+ years of experience in building front-end applications using Angular, HTML5, and JavaScript.
• 7+ years of deep .NET (C#) development experience, including Rest APIs.
• Strong database design, SQL programming, and performance tuning skills.
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Proficiency in cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure), Kubernetes, and Docker.
• CI/CD process experience.

Preferred Skills:

• Agile development project experience.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Service Bus and Micro Services.
• Proficiency in work tracking tools (Jira, TFS).
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
• Experience with virtual teams (onshore/offshore model) is a plus.
• Test-Driven Development (TDD) exposure using modern technologies.

Technology stack: Angular, .NET, Docker, Kubernetes

Location: London Office (With occasional visits to the London office)

Salary range: £80K – £100K
