Vendor Project Manager

Salt Talent search is looking for Sourcing Manager in Singapore.

You will be responsible to manage global category strategies and understand the business/company requirements to maximize value and partner with business stakeholders.

• This person will be responsible to manage global category strategies and understand the business/company requirements to maximize value and partner with business stakeholders.
• Supporting Senior Global Category Managers to execute the category strategies, spend and market analysis, running RFx’s, negotiating contracts and pricing, and supplier management.
• We are looking for someone with:
• – Sourcing and vendor management experience within the services categories of Marketing, Meetings & Events, Workplace, and Real Estate.
• – A keen eye for detail
• – Ability to research and provide an opinion on market conditions and trends
• – Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of organisation

What Will You Do:

• Identify key benchmark suppliers
• Manage tender evaluations
• Manage contract and Develop negotiation approach, fallback positions, acceptable terms and conditions through to closure. Identify and manage all violations and exceptions to existing supplier contracts
• Follow the Supplier strategy, selection, execution and compliance as outlined by the Senior Global Sourcing Manager.
• Manage the end to end tender process from creation to selection to contract implementation:
• Business Planning – Coordinate Suppliers internal customers and review supplier and business roadmaps
• Supplier Management – Perform Supplier audits, identifying areas of improvement and the plan to address
• Category Sourcing – Assist Senior Global Sourcing Managers in developing the category sourcing plan
• Business Partnering – Become a trusted advisor and partner to Business divisions and stakeholders
• Sourcing initiatives – Lead/support the maturation and continuous improvement of Sourcing.
