We are representing a client seeking a Sales Account Manager to join their successful team here in Dubai. This is an opportunity to join a global business, who are pushing the industry forward with a wide range of advanced industrial tools and services.
Job Responsibilities:
- Developing new customers in their designated region, ensuring that the Sales Entity is able to meet its growth targets through excellent communications and sales skills.
- Initiating, developing, and building professional relationships with end-users and new sales opportunities in the area of responsibility.
- Preparing and managing professional quotations, active follow-up, and successful conversion into orders.
- Liaising between Application Engineers/Specialists to solve applications/needs using standard and/or custom-designed products.
- Cooperating with local and regional colleagues to develop and implement global, regional, and local strategies within the region that will result in exceeding the annual financial targets.
- Conducting product presentations and demonstrations.
- Occasionally performing site work.
- Presenting proper prepared orders to Customer Service for processing.
- Reporting to the Commercial Manager on all commercial activities within the territory, complaints, trends, competitive actions, and any recommendations to improve sales results and productivity.
- Ensuring all HSEQ rules and regulations are communicated and enforced throughout the organization. Proactively participating in safety awareness and improvement.
Candidate Requirements:
- A Sales oriented candidate with experience of account management and its affiliations, who holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/BA or related fields.
- At least 8 years’ experience in the UAE region.
- Essential fluent oral and written English; knowledge of other languages is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills, able to work and communicate well with internal colleagues and external customers.
- Energetic and proactive initiator; must present a professional and articulate image.
- Able to work to deadlines; excellent organizational skills.
- Works well with minimal supervision; self-discipline and motivation.
- Good working knowledge of Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.); knowledge of a CRM package is beneficial.
- Effective and efficient traveling of at least 60-80% within the allocated region (occasionally outside of the designated region) is required.
- Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
