Airport Systems Implementation Specialist

Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Airport Systems Implementation Specialist with in-depth expertise in airport operations and airfield systems, including Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) and Visual Docking Guidance Systems (VDGS). The ideal candidate will also have solid experience with CCTV solutions, video analytics, and a thorough understanding of Airport Collaborative Decision Making (A-CDM) frameworks. This role requires a strong background in delivering and integrating complex systems within operational airport environments. The successful candidate will bring technical expertise, project management capabilities, and excellent communication skills to drive seamless system deployments and enhance airport performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead implementation of airport operational systems, airfield systems, and video analytics solutions, ensuring smooth integration with existing infrastructure.
• Apply A-CDM principles to optimize system performance and airport operations.
• Drive project planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Gather and validate business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
• Prepare and maintain all project documentation, including scopes of work, technical specs, test plans, and training materials.
• Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and airport stakeholders to ensure successful deployment and support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in implementing and supporting airport operational and airfield systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of A-CDM and its application in terminal and airfield operations.
• Strong background in IT system implementation, integration, and troubleshooting in complex environments.
• Proven project management experience, including stakeholder engagement and budget oversight.
• Skilled in requirements gathering, documentation, and technical presentations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
