Compliance & Contractor Care Administrator – Cape Town

Salt is looking for a Compliance & Contractor Care Administrator to join our ever-growing global Contractor and Compliance Team! This role will be based in Cape Town, South Africa and will be supporting our Salt’s business entities all over the world!

Main Responsibilities

  • Setting up new contractors on the pay and bill system dept.
  • Sending contractor logins and password reminders to contractors and clients
  • Responding to contractor and client email queries
  • Liaise with the Contractor Payments Manager on a regular basis to prevent and/ or resolve payment issues at the earliest possible stage
  • Drafting and send contractual paperwork for contractors and clients
  • Update documentation to reflect timesheet and expenses processes
  • Update the CRM database and ensure placements are recorded accurately
  • Respond to third party reference requests
  • To be trained to provide (partial) cover for the Contracts payment manager or the Head of Compliance & Contractor Management in any instance of annual leave or sickness
  • Carry out and/ or manage system audits as and when required

·      Any other ad hoc duties as requested by the Head of Compliance & Contractor Management

  • Submitting questionnaires that relate to compliance or contractor management
  • Documenting and chasing compliance documents, either internal or external documents for candidates
  • Track legislation changes in regions allocated by Head of compliance
  • Schedule calls with sales to promote rapport and communication

We’re Looking For

Your capabilities and experience should include:

  • 3+ years’ experience working in a recruitment agency environment, in a compliance / finance / administrative role
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Team player, experience working in a Team environment
  • The ability to vet and verify right-to-work documentation in line with government legislation
  • Good IT skills, writing skills, and telephone manner
  • Systems preferred include: Intime, Salesforce, Sage Line 50

  • Experience of working within a fast- paced dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated and driven, ability to work with minimum supervision
  • Enthusiastic and committed to the business objectives of the Company

  • Keen interest in recruitment related rules and regulations
