Salt is partnering with a global company, a leader in designing and building world-class factory automated solutions for advanced manufacturing, welding applications and assembly. With already having factories globally, as part of their global expansion strategy, they are looking to bring on a Sales Engineer to their US team.

This is a fully remote opportunity.

As the Sales Engineer, you will focus on technical sales as well as new business development and growing relationships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential new clients, develop relationships with key stakeholders within potential companies across North America
  • Subject matter expert on selling technical solutions
  • Develop a solid foundation of relationships within the automated manufacturing ecosystem
  • Develop channel partner network and be involved in trade shows and industry associations
  • Cross collaborate with various teams such as Engineers, Designers, Project Managers, Advanced Manufacturing Engineers and more in a multi-national environment
  • Travel requirements 50% domestic and international
  • Effectively manage internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • 5 years experience in technical B2B sales in the fabrication, manufacturing and/or robotics industries
  • proficient understanding of technical aspects, manufacturing processes and engineering terminology
  • CRM proficiency such as HubSpot and Microsoft dynamics
  • Project management experience
  • book of business in relevant industries preferred
  • Associate degree or equivalent in mechanical or other engineering fields
