In interviews for Data & Analytics roles, interviewers will try to assess if applicants have sufficient knowledge about topics such as operations research, database skills, scripting languages, visualisation, machine learning, and statistics. 1) Please describe how you would solve a business problem with a data-driven model.
2) According to your opinion, which data-driven models are simple and which ones are complex?
3) Please explain dimensionality reduction.
4) When do we know if we have collected enough data for training a model?
5) Why do we have different kind of data sets (training, validation and test) and how can they be used effectively?

Educational Requirements

The educational requirements for Data & Analytics jobs are among the strictest in the IT sector. Around 40 percent of companies requires their future employees to have postgraduate degrees, such as masters, MBAs or PHDs. The other 60 percent of companies expects applicants to have an analytical undergraduate degree, e.g. in computer science, engineering, maths, or statistics.
