According to recruiters, there is one particular keyword which should not miss on any CV, which is: digital marketing. Digital marketing and E-Commerce should always be seen as a unit, meaning that every E-Commerce consultant needs a passion for digital marketing in order to do well in their job. Besides digital marketing, there are a couple of other keywords which should be included: profitability increase, customer expectation management or sales increase.

Not every E-Commerce interview is the same and the questions asked by the hiring managers may vary wildly depending on the company culture and job requirements. There are some key questions, though, which are likely to be asked in E-Commerce interviews:

Educational Requirements

As in most industries, a qualification is a huge plus in landing an E-Commerce job. In the past, there were no specific degrees for E-Commerce and people working in this field came from a marketing and retail backgrounds. Nowadays, there are specific E-Commerce degrees, including associate degrees, bachelor's degrees and undergraduate degrees in E-Commerce.
