Digital Analytics Specialist
This position will be part of a Global team, looking for a Digital Analytics Specialist! As a data-driven marketer, you’ll be helping us to improve and optimize our online marketing activities.
The main responsibilities of the Digital Analytics Specialist consist of:
· A strong understanding of best practices across all social media platforms
· Measure and analyze marketing channel and campaign performance to enhance effectiveness (e.g., Web, SEO, Paid Ads, Affiliates, Email, Social Media, etc.)
· Work with the product teams on the design of site experiments, implementing and testing opportunities via Personalization or A/B testing and researching new data sources
· Closely work with IT partners to develop performance dashboards and visualizations.
· Support the team on implementing additional analytics tool sets and digital tracking
· Create a data governance framework and road map for analytics, giving guidance where required
· Establish a cross-channel, integrated reporting framework identifying key growth metrics
· Lead the build of cross-channel dashboards through use of data visualization tools
· Support work on integrating digital data with other data sources
· Share insights and reports to senior management and other internal stakeholders
· Ensure that analytics data is accurate and there is sufficient monitoring in place to spot issues
· Continually assess and audit web analytics effectiveness
· Implement on-site analytics changes.
· Make scope changes, use processing rules and create new classification rules
· Leverage on-site data for funnel conversion optimization, identify opportunities for improvement
· Collaborate on insights from audiences engaging in other Product tools to inform conversion opportunities and growth
· Use project management techniques to ensure all changes are delivered on time, to scope and to budget
You possess the following qualifications, background and abilities:
· Degree in data science, statistics, computer science, business analytics or related field
· Hands-on analytical and measurement experience of digital channels such as Web, SEO, E-mail, Affiliates, Paid Ads, Social Media
· Higher educational background degree plus at least 5 years’ experience in internal/client-facing digital data analysis roles
· Experience with dashboarding and reporting and build end-to-end real-time reporting to understand:
1. Ecommerce business’s and technical performance
2. Digital experience management across digital sales and engagement channels
3. Operational KPIs
4. Create custom alerts for digital engagement and sales channels to proactively find issues
· Project management skills and ability to prioritize and manage up effectively.
· Commercial experience working on digital – SEM, paid media, mobile data
· Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations for stakeholders with varying levels of analytic expertise
· Data-driven storytelling skills – you create and deliver compelling presentations with outstanding visuals
· Strong technical abilities with SEM, SEO, SEA and skills specific tool knowledge on Google Analytics CRM systems.
· Basic experience with JavaScript, CSS, HTML
· Strong Web Analytics proficiency is required – A/B testing / usability / UX etc.
· Provide guidance and lead training sessions to cross-functional partners and global counterparts on digital analytics best practices to promote dashboard adoption, monitor usage, gather feedback, and maintain alignment across brands and regions
