PHP Engineer

Salt are representing an international Hotel Management company that has been voted 2 years in a row as the best hotel management software in the world. They are seeking a skilled PHP Developer to join their dynamic development team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting projects, contributing to defined sprints, and delivering scalable and secure code for our digital offerings. Your responsibilities will include testing, reviewing, and fixing defects, as well as troubleshooting and maintaining core product software and databases.

Salary: R55 000 – R60 000/Month + benefits

Hybrid work model with 3 days on-site 2 days remote.

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in PHP 8, MySQL, Sass, Vue.js, Git, and REST.
• Excellent communication skills to understand project requirements, provide feedback to stakeholders, and collaborate with team members.
• Extensive knowledge of software development technologies and user interfaces.
• Ability to thrive in an agile software development environment.
• Capability to work with an international team and customers across different time zones.
• Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities with efficiency.
• Experience with all phases of the development lifecycle and adherence to best practices.
• Proficient troubleshooting skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with various development methodologies.
• Proficient analytical and decision-making skills.
• Fluency in English.
