The titles of Digital Producer and Content Producer can mean very different things from one company to another. Sometimes it means someone who facilitates or project manages content (video shoots/edits, photo shoots, retouching, etc.) but other roles include the actual creation of the ideas or scripts all the way through to holding and pointing the camera!
Add the fact that both will work on one of the two sides of the digital creative industry — Product and Comms — and it can become a recruiting minefield.
Communications are marketing/advertising campaigns like banner ads, EDM's, campaign microsites, and DOOH. Product is more about app and site design, and working with UX Designers and Developers.
