AI Solution Architect

Drive the architecture and technical direction of a major AI capability uplift program within a large, complex organisation. This role is ideal for an experienced architect who can blend strategic thinking, hands-on solution design, and strong governance to enable safe, scalable and impactful AI adoption.

About the Role:

• Lead end-to-end technical architecture for enterprise AI initiatives.
• Develop solution outlines, integration patterns, capability models and technology roadmaps.
• Establish AI governance frameworks, ethical guidelines and an AI operating model.
• Expand and enhance cloud-based AI sandbox environments across Azure and AWS.
• Curate a catalogue of secure, approved AI tools with supporting documentation.
• Architect and support delivery of high-value AI use cases.

What You’ll Bring:

• Strong background in Enterprise and Solution Architecture within large-scale environments.
• Deep understanding of AI technologies, data platforms and cloud environments (Azure/AWS).
• Experience designing secure APIs, integration patterns and cloud-native solutions.
• Proven ability to implement AI governance, ethical frameworks and compliance controls.
• Ability to develop operating models, capability frameworks and long-term roadmaps.
• Excellent communication skills to engage senior business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong documentation skills, including architecture diagrams and technical papers.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Information Technology or related field (preferred).
• AI-related certifications (preferred).
• Experience delivering architecture across enterprise programs.
• Strong knowledge of data privacy, security and regulatory requirements.
