🚀 Hiring: Software Engineer (Mobile / Android) – 12 months ZZP freelance project

We’re looking for a Software Engineer who takes ownership of technical delivery and brings a strong sense of quality and craftsmanship to everything they build.

In this role, you’ll implement technical solutions based on business needs, estimate effort and impact, and work across a modern tech stack. You’ll treat test automation as first-class code, continuously refactoring to enable sustainable, high-quality development.

You’ll collaborate closely with engineers, product owners, and quality specialists, working on everything from product features and UI to infrastructure automation, frameworks, tooling, and services.

What you’ll do

• Build and maintain high-quality mobile application features
• Estimate and prioritise work based on effort and user impact
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve user experience
• Monitor production, resolve incidents, and fix complex issues
• Contribute to release, build, and deployment processes

What we’re looking for

• 4+ years of Android development experience (Android SDK)
• Strong knowledge of modern Android architecture patterns
• High attention to detail and pride in code quality
• Curious, self-motivated, and comfortable learning new technologies
• Team player with a proactive mindset

Start date ASAP ideally – 12 months contract duration.

Competitive market rate on offer.

Hybrid – couple days per week in Amsterdam in the office, rest remote. English speaking, dutch nice to have but it is not a requirement.
