Business Analyst – Transformation (12-Month Contract)
A leading government organization is embarking on a series of high-impact transformation initiatives and is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to play a pivotal role in driving successful outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of a complex, large-scale program that will directly impact how services are delivered to the community.
The Opportunity
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for eliciting, documenting, and managing requirements across multiple transformation workstreams. You will act as the interphase between senior stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring that digital transformation objectives are clearly defined and achievable. This role suits someone with a sharp analytical mind who enjoys untangling complex processes in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead workshops and discussion to gather functional and non-functional requirements from diverse stakeholder groups.
- Develop the process models to identify efficiency gains and support digital uplift.
- Evaluate existing systems and processes against program objectives to identify critical needs.
- Build strong relationships with senior leaders to ensure business requirements are accurately represented and signed off.
- Maintain high-quality business requirement documents, user stories, and traceability matrices.
- Work closely with managers and technical teams to ensure the final solution aligns with the original business intent.
About You
- Demonstrated success as a Business Analyst on large-scale transformation or digital projects.
- Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid framework to utilize the skill sets.
- Exceptional ability to synthesize complex information into clear, actionable business requirements.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and facilitate consensus in a large organizational setting.
- Experience managing competing priorities within dynamic, high-profile environments.
- Experience within government or the public sector is highly regarded.
