Business Architect

The role is responsible for mapping and orchestrating the full journey ecosystem, ensuring front-stage customer interactions are seamlessly enabled by back-stage processes, systems, governance, and data capabilities. Working closely with business, operations, technology, and control functions, the role ensures solutions are feasible, compliant, scalable, and strategically aligned while maintaining traceability across all journey layers throughout the lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Business Architecture & Journey Design

Lead the end-to-end design of customer journeys across all backstage layers, processes, operations, technology, data, and risk & compliance, translating strategic objectives into integrated service blueprints and capability maps.

2. Solution Alignment & Orchestration

Collaborate with solution architects, service designers, operations, and engineering teams to ensure target-state architectures are cohesive, feasible, scalable, and aligned to the defined journey architecture across all enabling layers.

3. Stakeholder & Governance Alignment

Act as the integrator across business, design, technology, operations, and control functions, facilitating cross-functional workshops to align on target-state journeys, resolve trade-offs, and manage interdependencies and expectations.

4. Operational & Capability Optimization

Drive structured journey mapping to identify capability gaps, process inefficiencies, control weaknesses, and automation opportunities across front-stage and back-stage layers.

5. Risk, Compliance & Control by Design

Embed regulatory, risk, data governance, and compliance considerations into the business architecture from inception, ensuring journeys are compliant by design and aligned with internal control frameworks.
