A growing technology solutions provider within the banking and financial services sector is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive commercial growth across the UAE market. This role is ideal for a sales professional with a strong background in banking technology, payments, and enterprise solution selling.
The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying opportunities, building relationships with leading financial institutions, and managing the full sales lifecycle from initial outreach through to contract negotiation and long-term account development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth by achieving agreed sales and business development targets
- Develop and implement a strategic market plan focused on expanding presence within the UAE banking and financial services sector
- Own the complete sales process, including prospecting, client engagement, proposal development, negotiation, and closing
- Collaborate closely with internal technical, delivery, and product teams to ensure solutions align with client requirements
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, decision makers, and leadership teams across financial institutions
- Support the preparation of tailored proposals, presentations, and bid documentation for prospective clients
- Negotiate commercial agreements, including solution implementation and ongoing support or maintenance services
- Maintain accurate pipeline activity, client records, and engagement history within CRM systems
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to strengthen market positioning
- Establish and grow strategic partnerships with regional and international partners to expand market reach
Candidate Profile:
- 5-10 years of experience in business development or enterprise sales within banking technology, fintech, or payment solutions
- Strong network and established relationships within the UAE banking and financial services industry
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets and managing complex B2B sales cycles
- Ability to engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives and senior management
- Strong commercial awareness with excellent negotiation and influencing skills
- Solid understanding of banking operations, payment ecosystems, and financial technology solutions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal abilities
- Self-motivated, commercially driven, and able to work independently
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Professional fluency in English
