Change Manager – Transformation (12-Month Contract)
A leading public sector organisation is embarking on a series of high-impact transformation initiatives and is seeking an experienced Change Manager to play a pivotal role in driving successful outcomes. This is a unique opportunity to work at the heart of a complex, large-scale program that will directly impact how services are delivered to the community.
The Opportunity
As the Change Manager, you will be responsible for shaping and delivering end-to-end change strategies across multiple workstreams. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, program leaders, and delivery teams to ensure change is effectively embedded, understood, and adopted across the organisation. This role will suit someone who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and enjoys influencing at all levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive change management strategies and plans aligned to program objectives
- Conduct detailed change impact assessments and readiness analyses across business units
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders to drive engagement and buy-in
- Design and deliver clear, compelling communication strategies tailored to diverse audiences
- Develop and implement training frameworks and support materials to enable successful adoption
- Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and resistance to change
- Track and report on change effectiveness, ensuring continuous improvement throughout the lifecycle
About You
- Demonstrated experience delivering change management across complex, enterprise-level programs
- Strong background in stakeholder engagement, with the ability to influence and challenge at a senior level
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for simplifying complex ideas
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes in dynamic environments
- Experience within government, public sector, or large-scale organisations is highly regarded
- Familiarity with recognised change methodologies (e.g. Prosci, ADKAR) is advantageous
