Channel Development Manager – B2B Technology Solutions
Sydney | Hybrid | OTE $180k-$200k
A fast-growing, Australian-owned technology services provider is seeking an experienced Channel Development Manager to build and scale a B2B partner ecosystem from the ground up. This is a rare greenfield opportunity offering genuine autonomy, commercial ownership, and the ability to sell both via channel and directly to end customers.
The Opportunity
This role suits a commercially minded channel professional who thrives in build mode. You will design, launch, and grow a partner program while also identifying, quoting, and closing opportunities yourself. You’ll work closely with senior sales leadership and have a direct impact on revenue, structure, and go-to-market strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, recruit, and onboard high-potential channel partners
- Position and differentiate a compelling technology value proposition
- Train and enable partner sales teams across solutions and systems
- Support partners with solution design, quoting, and deal execution
- Actively manage pipeline across both channel-led and direct opportunities
- Build long-term, revenue-generating partner relationships
About You
- 5+ years’ experience in channel management, business development, or B2B sales
- Strong “hunter” mindset with a track record of building new revenue streams
- Deep understanding of the local IT / technology channel landscape
- Existing network across IT, print, or adjacent B2B sectors
- Confident communicator with strong presentation and stakeholder skills
- Self-driven, commercially sharp, and comfortable with ambiguity
Nice to Have
- Experience across Telco, Networking, Web, AI, Surveillance, or managed services
